  1. thats it boys get behind it would be good to aim for it say mid to late september or early october.

the jewie scene may have picked up by then (has it ever stopped i dont think so) and it will be a good dress rehersal for the classic in november.

i may have a spot on my boat. would prefer if my deckie was blind folded or blind to protect my few spots :biggrin2:

i think this may be the big issue on the social don t forget boys sharing is caring

  2. i think this has been taken out of context. to be honest i was having my opinion on things, now whether relly is that ignorant to think there are only three good fisherman in the area thats good for him but i relly relly doubt that. for your information relly one of those fellas got me onto jew fishing as i spent most of my early fishing days chasing pelagics. i relly find it hard to believe you start dropping names when people i got such high regard for probably wouldn t approve of it themselves.

wake up to yourself relly know relly wake up mate

also moonie mate you sound like a good honest bloke, the other fellas ive had the privelege of meeting or knowing. now who are you relly relly

  3. try beating Noel Pierce then!!! He is the master along with Ronnie.

mate its all about consistency yeah there top fishos but from the evidence mate i can t go past moonie and his mates getting the big jews, sorry Reely but they are the bench mark in the hawkesbury these days

  4. those port jacksons are ugly and probably the worst thing that can end up on your line.

anyway enough said on port jacksons, well done on those trevally.

my rules after seeing a pod of dolphins come through my fishing area is pack up and head in the oppposite direction. they tend to scare everything away excluding those putrid ports

  5. i had spoken to him probably 2 months ago and he had just finished filming that episode. so it definately wasn t summer but the water temp was considerably higher then, then its is now.

i never really fished down that way as i am from the other shire that being baulkham hills, therefore i am a hawkesbury man, but its opened my eyes to the area and may give it a go in the near future.

  6. just a thought are we ever going to organise a hawkesbury social. i understand we had cowan for hairtail, but why not a jews social covering most parts of the lower reaches of the hawkesbury.

    just a thought.

  7. mate top catch there nice mixed bag. did you watch #%$%^&(* fish under the bridge there. i never thought that system was so productive with jews. he must have bagged about 6 of them in the program all roughly 6 - 12kg.

i wonder if we are starting to see the results of the jewfish that fisheries added to the area a couple of years ago
