    Boat Licence

if it goes over 10 knots, yes you do. If you drive it under 10 knots you don't need a licence, however you cannot drive at night at any speed without a licence
  2. what i meant, is that it is a funny different looking king compared to others..reminds me of a cobe kinda
  3. nice kings mate, good to see them inside the bay. is it just me or does the king in the first picture look ... different?

  5. Hey guys, im getting more serious with my lb fishing, and i want to buy myself a nice combo. The combo will be used mostly of the rocks, and sometimes beach, so they must be tough and a bit tolerant to a few knocks here and there. I would like the rod to be at least 10foot and must be 2 or 3 piece. I will be targeting kings, sharks, tailor, salmon ect.. The reel i have pretty much settled on is the shimano spheros 14000, matched up with 50lb braid (the reel will also be used for jigging and live baiting on the boat) So, what kind of rod and reels do you recommend. I would like to spend under 200 bucks on the rod (the less the better because it will get thrashed on the rocks) thanks.
  6. Hey guys, im just wondering if anyone could pass on some good land based spots that i can access by car? I would prefer them to be not to far away from sydney, and want to target palegics (kings salmon tailor) Ive tried coalcliff, atford, stanwell ect for not alot of luck and would like somewhere else to fish Is landbased fishing off la parous any good? can u land kings of the island? thanks

  9. Hey guys, I'm heading out tomorrow morning to fish the rocks around CoalCliff, and might go for a beach fish as well at Garrie beach. I haven't been land based around that area for about 1 year now. I was just wondering if anyone could offer me some information about how its fishing at the moment and what types of rigs and bait to use? I was thinking of using; -A big float of the rocks, with a ganged pilchard or using a snapper snatcher with the same bait. -And off the beach just a normal running sinker rig using a big star/pyramid sinker. I am guessing that the Sambo's and maybe Tailor are around, but is there anything else to be caught? I should also note that i will only be using tackle shop Pilles and Prawns, and don't have access to fresh bait unless i can catch some on the spot (unlikely)

    Reel

shimano baitrunner 4500 or 6500, possibly the toughest reel available for the price you pay (160-200)
  11. james 1990 used his rwd territory to tow a 6m fibreglass boat which would have weighed close to 2 ton loaded , and it had no trouble going up the ramp. plenty of power on the freeway and no trouble going up hill even with a 4 big blokes in the car, and the boat full of gear and fuel a very nice car..the turbo territory is also a nice choice
  12. congrats mate! what was the winning fish?
  13. its a nice little spot for carp I don't think there is boats allowed in there? but its still a very nice spot land based.
  14. geez thats a nice flatty! my flatty which was only 5cm shorter then yours weighed nearly half that!
