You can hardly tell a difference in temperature at all..I usually fish this spot at least once every outing, and i still do not know why i keep going back..The only 'big' fish you will catch there are stingrays and sharks..

how about making them with the theme of fish. Start with yakka and make your way up to say a marlin or something big like that

Are you talking about the new VE commodore? if its auto i would get a transmission oil cooler (they might come standard these days), but i think u should have no problems towing that size boat, just keep an eye on the heat gauge.

Redbook says you can tow up to 900kg braked and 550 kg not braked so i would go for it. Personally i wouldn't tow anything un-braked in that car, as the weight will put alot of strain on the cars brakes especially down hills and don't back down to close to the water. redbook

chris- yes i understand its drinks a few extra litres per 100km then competitors, but look at the extra torque you get. And saying the inline six is as simple as it was almost 20 years ago when they introduced the ea 3.9 carby is wrong. Billions have been spent in developing the newest Barra engine. I think more $ should be spent in researching and developing the current motor. penguin - Holden didn't loose fans when it switched to the v6 because it didn't have any in the first place , but in all seriousness you can't compare that to what is happening now, because this is an AUSSIE motor that is going to be replaced now, unlike the Japanese I6 from the skyline.

As you would have heard by now, 600 jobs will be axed in 2010. In short, and from what I've heard, new emission regulations have forced ford to cease the production of the locally built inline 6 engine. Ford will be replacing the I6's with new AMERICAN built duratec v6's . (3.5L) imo if they go ahead with this, ford will lose a lot of fans, as the inline 6 is the fords trademark. speaking of that swr bar, did anyone read the story in the August edition of another fishing magazine? Couple of blokes had troubles since they left sydney, and eventually made it to the bar when they got flipped over. Somehow (unbelievable) the boat got back on the right side and the boat was heading straight for a man overboard. Fortunately the prop only got his foot.
