nice fish :)

what did you use as a marinade if you dont mind me asking :)

Hi Shant,

The Marinade is my wifes creation it is excellent with snapper, trevaly, bream

Instructions

firstly

Scale and gut fish in sea water

Place fish on Aluminium foil

slice up Half a lemon and a pice of ginger approx 2cm

Place sliced lemon and sliced ginger in rib cavity

secondly make Marinade and mix

Quater cup peanut oil

2 tbs brown sugar

5 tbs Oyster sauce

1 tbs grated ginger

1 crushed garlic

1 lemon or lime squeezed

1 dry chilly chopped (take seeds out do not add them)

Score fish and paste on Marinade wrap fish up with the foil and cook for 1hr on 180degrees

Good to see what they call an average fish, looks like, and I'm sure taste like a great dinner !!!!

You've done very well!!

I'm sure that you could do well with even a yellowtail, slimey or even a mullet !!

Fresh Tailor is beautiful. Not a bad size that one. Did you see any bird activity around the school or was it just down deep waiting for your bait?

I did see bird activity on a current line near the third runway, however I did not stop their, I was rigged up and keen on getting my first kingy at Moll Point, thats were I picked this 46cm tailor down about 25m

top stuff mate good tailor there, maybe would have been worth a hot at the runway with all that bird activity. we nailed a fe kings earlier in the year in that region after seeing similar bird activity and bait fish.

still a good catch mate and hopefully more good reports to come.
