0 Frantic Posted August 16, 2007 Share Posted August 16, 2007 the top one is a Venus Tuskfish or otherwise known as a parrotfish ,they are top eating,one of the best .Ive even used it as sushimi for some japanese tourists.The bottom fish is a Goatfish of some sort and it to is quite edible. 0 frangkie Posted February 18, 2008 Share Posted February 18, 2008 (edited) the top fish is a tusk fish of the grass or venus variety. they are a common reef fish in southern queensland and northern nsw. they are a snapper bycatch and also taste great.
