thereddragon
That should be some kind of record, catching 16kg kingfish and being towed around in a 13ft tinnie for 20 mins on 30lb braid. That amazing well done on a fantastic catch.
livo
It's all been said.. Great fish. If entered your going to make me eat my words about my vote in Fish of the month. I thought The Poacher's kingy a couple of weeks ago was a dead cert', but maybe not.

GOOB
Too good is right. That is an awesome fish. Congrats. The only hard part is that as anglers we always try to beat our PB's. I think with a bit of time and some luck it will happen for you mate. GOOB

Bawley
Gday all, Fished the harbour on friday and picked up a PB kingy. I tryed all the usual spots around for not much at all until about the top of the tide when i picked up this fish. It was caught on 30lb braid on a large whole fresh squid downrigged. It put up a great fight towing me and my 13ft tinnie around for about 20 mins. It weighed 16kg gutted and went 120cm from nose to tip of the tail. A champion fish that one..... congrats.. livo
Mate, it's going to be hard to vote for FOTM tomorrow. Yours is a beautiful fish, no doubt, but I love the photo of The Poachers King. And what about the Jewie?? Ohhhh. I'll give it till tomorrow, as someone might have outdone all off you today and the way things are fishing ATM I wouldn't be surprised to see a bolter at the end. Again mate, great fish. Have you eaten any of it yet? Why wasn't I invited?
Thunder
Was that just inside North Head and you were in the unpainted tinnie? If so, we were in the white half cabin near you giving you the cheers and thumbs up. Nice fish. Cheers Greg
