Ray R
Hi Raiders, been well and truly bitten by the luderick bug, this past week I have been around the rocks about 8 times and each time I have found atleast one fish to chomp on my weedy offerings. My best day was last sunday when I landed 17 blackies in a 2.5 hour session, most of these went back, kept 6. I had arvos of 9, 7, 5 and 8 fish as well and today I found 4 blackies and a nice pig which might I add really gave the blackie gear a work out, I kept him and 2 blackies and the other 2 went back. I think what I enjoy about this fishing is firstly the ease of bait and berley gathering and the then the anticipation of not knowing when that little stem float will slowly receed. Anyway that's it for now, not many pics considering the fish caught but sometimes it's very hectic and photos take a back seat... Guess what I'm doin tomorrow, yeah baby I need another luderick injection... This is my biggest so far at around 44cm's..

A great fishing location that is holding such a diverse range of fish - very envious ! Some crackin' photos as usual Cheers Ian

Ray R
Hello Ray, Do you find that they feed at the same depth all they time, or do they feed differently every day? thank you. That's right mate, I might take about 5 or 6 depth changes before I find them, go the next day and they are at a different depth, it's all a big learning curve for me... chriseels2010
Tried to get on the blackies today but nothing...I snorkeled later on in the day to check it out and really only one or two down there, whereas 2 months ago they were heaps! Are they a winter species?
