onearmedfisho
Apparently the down rigger bomb got stuck on the reef. Then a large wave came through and turned the boat over. It was a Surtees which offer old for new replacement warranty so a mate of mine (surtees dealer)actually had to go and retrieve it from the beach. noelm
Not too sure how tipping your boat over is in any way a warranty claim.

noelm
Insurance and warranty are two very different things.
blaxland
Looks like a bad decision mistakes are made. I guess its another reason to use 100lb braid on the bomb. (I dont down rid) but surely the cable would snap?
