Time to get boat wet .. after 3mth lay up

After not being able to get out fishing for some time due to travelling, and then seas/weather not cooperating, decided time to get the boat wet so headed out for a late run yesterday (had visitors leaving so didn't launch till 10am 😞 )  to get some flathead .

Launched at Woy Woy,  wind was up a little more than expected around 15+ knots however it was to come down, so when I got out to 60mts  around 11am,  sea anchor deployed. Fishing was very slow, tried a couple of spots to get two fish on board. Decided to move in closer to around 50mtrs area, and around midday wind dropped off with next to no drift. Wind eventually picked up and I moved to some 40mt marks, to pick up another 3 fish. 

This was to be a short trip due to an appointment to get to , so packed up around 2:00, but still headed in with feed (5 flathead around 40-45cm), and boat is ready for the summer .
