Hawkesbury RIver 13/12

Afternoon all,

Decided to change things up today, and headed to the Hawkesbury river. Was a bit cautious as there seems to be a lot of freshwater coming down. However no debrie.

Instead of blue swimmers I went for muddies, put the boat in at mooney mooney and went right, headed past the vines with all the trawlers bashing the area. Kept driving past bar point and basically just kept going, found some nice creeks and mangroves and thought this is the spot….

Nek minute…. Photos below…

say here in the harbour , you practically have to  set your trap 10 metres from the boat or else someone / anyone will come and lift it  to have a free feed of crab or take  the lot ,  how bad is it around the hawkesbury ? do you get many people checking other peoples traps?   by the way  choice muddies
