Hugh Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 (edited) So, WillyWeather told me it was forecast mild wind, that proved incorrect. I managed to find a few sheltered areas in the harbour to hide out on an otherwise quiet day. The day included a few small snapper, a numb ray and then I got this 55cm Sambo on my bream outfit - the reel was screaming and I had to nurse it home. Going to hit Berowra tomorrow chasing Jews and Flatties. Edited November 3, 2022 by Hugh 15
big Neil Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 Nice Salmon to land on very light gear Hugh, well done. I always think that the most difficult fish to land are the ones you have to play carefully, to tire them out, before attempting to bring them in. Good feeling when it all comes together though. Good luck at Berowra, look forward to your post. Cheers, bn
Isaac Ct Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 Cracking Salmon, that would've been fun on the bream gear. Good luck tomorrow (or today). Well done
bessell1955 Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 You have done a great job to land that fish on light gear. I hope you will ramp up for the Hawkesbury.
Pickles Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 Cracker Sambo Hugh, weather reports have been sooooo wrong lately, a real bummer, but you did well👍👍
Bluebenbomb Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 Well done on the sambo, must have been exhilarating to fight on your bream gear. Loved the b&w photo.
