R E G I C Y C L E
Spent a day on the Coxs with some mates. Arrived at the first spot about 7 and fished roughly 3km up stream. Beautiful scenery, and some very healthy fish caught. Biggest would have been high 30s, although my mate dropped a 50s model after a good fight. 12 fish all up for that stretch including 2 reddies and a brown. Had lunch and moved on to another section for the arvo. 30 degree heat had really turned off the bite. I fished this section a month or two back and it was firing, but the water level has dropped heaps. We could see schools of large trout milling around in holes about 40cm deep but not interested in anything we put under their noses. Saw a tiger trout in the school which was pretty cool! My mate found a tiny hole with some fish that were feeding, and got a decent trout and more redfin. Enjoyable day.

R E G I C Y C L E
Thanks guys 1 hour ago, bessell1955 said: I wonder how long they will last with the current temperature? I think they'll be ok, there was plenty of fast water around and they could easily head downstream into deep water if they wanted.

I've been too close for comfort a few times, but the snakes seem to be as willing to part ways as I am 😄
Bryant fish
Is the camping ground still at jenolan caves rd as you go over the first bridge. My kiwi wife really didn't enjoy a snake going between her feet at one stage back then we didn't have a mobile phone and a 45 minute walk back to the car
R E G I C Y C L E
Yeah Glenroy Campground. I've never fished there, but I've heard that stretch is way over fished.
