Plan was to have a swim and gather some bait for the afternoon or next day. We had a nice dip as the tide rose and headed for the flats to pump some nippers. Decided to have a drift or two and my wife caught the fish of the day (whiting) at just on 40. Also threw a lure at some bust ups resulting in a salmon in the 40s. I came in second with a mid 30s model then I dropped wifey home and headed out to collect some poddies for the next day.
