Rebel
@Green Hornet @wazatherfisherman @Yowie Hi Guys, You will like this story. Brings back a lot of Memories. I had packed up for the morning, so I walked down the jetty to see what was happening as a few people had arrived & the rain had eased. There was this elderly guy trying to tie a knot in his line. As I looked closer he had a cork with gut line on it & a rusty hook i said let me help you. He said I am ok. I aked him did you fight in WW2 ? no Korea. I went back to my van & I gave him two hand line plastic spools. two packs of 6lb Shimano Exage mono, some whiting hooks & some sucide hooks & sinkers. I said good luck as I walked away. Speechless. Cheers. Edited January 31, 2023 by Rebel 13

What comes around, goes around. We need more people in the world like you. bn 1

Green Hornet
Well done you @Rebel. Lending or offering a hand to struggling fishermen is never a bad thing and the fact that he was a veteran makes it that much sweeter. 2
