Thats the best bream lure ive ever seen!

hey dan, i was in a brooker 410 safari , whit with a blue stripe. You? Yeah the water is cold , im suprised there still around!, i was reading about 16 degrees all day.

Went out on the boat thismorning , the target being kingys. we Tied up about quater past 5, this were quiet till it got light,i got one nice squid on a jig after is smashed a couple of our baits , the hood going about 30cm. Caught heaps of trevs , few pinkies and some bream. About 9.30 we were beginning to pack up as things were very quiet, as dad was cleaning something his rod went bang and i grabbed it Landed my 1st winter king , no monster at 56cm but satisfying none the less. Packed it in , about 10ish. Rob

Very good to hear that, well done i have put in alot of time fishing for squid for the past few weeks for only 2 babies. But i have been using the 1.8 jigs, will chuck out a big one next time Rob

Adventure bound is on at 8pm , thursday night. I ALWAYS think its on at 8:30 and miss it, 3 weeks in a row! Repeated on the weekend at some time .

Well done guys I agree Ryan, dunno whats going on but its been bloody hard to catch squid recently. Managed just one out of about 6-7 hours made up of a few sessions. Going to try again this arvo see if its any different.

The weather this winter certainly hasnt been good But.......................................The thought of warm waters and windless days keeps me going

I love these types of stories, they crack me up everytime Only one comes to mind on my behalf, me and a friend were fishing for yakkas at balmoral a few years ago suddenly a schools of gars makes an appearance, seeing as the bait jig was already tied on we tried to use it but the sinker was to heavy, my mate took it off and went awat to fetch another , they were at our feet so i thought bugger it and tried it, managed one not on the baitjig hooks , but the open snap swivel! , was properly hooked in the top of the mouth to!!!
