reminds me of when i was washing my boat down at my old mans house a guy on a bike who was riding past told me off about using soooo much water not nowing it was tank water i just smiled and waved at him best way to handle it.

were are u hooking them also? might have something to do with why they die as other have said make sure the water is fresh were u are holding them, i can have livies allday in my tank no problems

sounds like a fun day thats a good size surgeon!! i love watching people get snapped off fishing the piers for them when i target them i use 50lb braid 40lb leader so i can stop them i was sick of getting snapped off they go like guided misiles when they are 30+cm ive seen some monsters surgeons in the harbour

well done on the snapper would of been fun on light gear!! there are heaps of flattys around atm alot of them undersize though i was out saturday drifting and would of landed over 30 undersize ones kept 5 for the plate. some as small as the one u had caught on the vibe! cant wait to get back out there

looks like the cannon standard clip they work ok u just have to know how to set them up fiddly things.

nice ride mate im actually doin some research atm on dual cab diesel turbo 4x4 as im in the market for one. the toyota is perfect for me but price is a huge turn off 30-50k i havnt looked into the colorado's yet but they look the goods as u said isuzu make good reliable diesel motor gona book a test drive hehe.. im staying well clear of the triton (sorry mitsubishi fans) but ive never had any luck with them...

jimm and framed trash are on the money i have done the same with my set up used a 100lb trace of the ball about 500mm with a game clip swivel and use elastic bands although ive never had any trouble with standard clips i just trust band more.. also with deep diver i have tryed them with no luck as they load up to much (to much underwater drag) and release to easy good luck
