  1. well done guys what a awsome fish for sydney if only the weather would hold up i would get out there and get a spread out!
  2. i only ever pre mix it myself people say its a pain but its simple calculate tank size work out how much oil buy a measuring cup to suit oil size, mark it so u just add whatever amount u need pour it in the tank go to servo fill up and go fishing, easy. and no problems my mate who is a marine mechanic does the same he swears by it not worth the risk for 2minutes extra work,
  3. i havnt had a chance to try mine as the squid have been in shallow water atm for me and the thermal jacket jigs are to big i will be trying it through winter when the squid have gone deep!
  4. cordeless hammer drill thats what i use! dewalt do a really good one ive drilled a few and use a custom stainless rod holder that fits in my bag with the drill works a treat
  5. yeah mate they have moved across the road and have a new name next to burger shop! hope they sell the et sea sick tablets as they are very good
  6. should also try throwing a yakka at them they usually like that! hopefully i can get amongst them this sunday i'll head out wide if the swell isnt up.
  7. that sux jim cant believe someone would have the balls to do it when u are right there! thats nuts im sure from now on i will be more carefull with my boat hope u can pick one up cheap and get back out there!
  8. well done i was sitting under the taren point bridge at 520am was bucketing down ended up with same bonnies and rat kings downrigging around the bay even outside had some solid shows but nothing over legal
  9. well done haha i was actually down there last week fishing of crampton stayed at lake tabourie tourist park in a cabin didnt get any reds but plenty of tailor bream salmon. awsome spot to fish and will prolly take my boat down next time
  10. is it a 2 or 4 stroke? if its a 2stroke the fuel mix lubricates the engine hence why 99% of people who know anything about 2strokes pre mix it them selfs to exact mixture using a measuring cup and discconect the premix. mechanic items do fail anytime in result to engine damage another tip dont buy premix from bouzer on the water its nasty stuff.
  11. well done mate top jew they go hard from 5+kg

    Birthday

happy birthday mate all the best hope u have a good day!
  14. thats abit dear mate. if that was me i would try this this first, if it is seized it will be a rust problem i would disconnect the steering linkage assuming that it isnt Hydraulic, run a drill bit through the steering linkage of the motor same size as the linkage size. and regrease it with salt water resistant grease, and try that i did this with my boat after sitting for 1 year and my steering has been sweet
  15. pe8 on the stella might be able to stop them now!

  16. bit of advice from my experiance dont go with a esky made one spend alittle more money and get a decent tank with folded return lip (anti splash top) in a tinny with the movement u loose heaps of water in the boat and can be fustrating. They have some good ones on (flea bay) auction site,
  17. well done nice healthy king! they seem to be getn bigger and fatter every year good sign of things to come, the few that i have caught this season have been in good size and fat for river fish!

  20. thanks guys will enjoy a few fishing presants when the weather clear's up
  21. kings everywere !

  22. ahh i have used both and by far the stella has much better performance and durability over the saltist in standard form. I think the anti reverse and drag of the saltist is a bit of a let down. thats my opinion and tested on fish over 8kg. u get what u pay for saltist is rated below the shimano saragosa in my books.
  23. mate if u are hiring a car i would go down to corimandal and try and go on a mussel barge/charter we landed over 100 snapper in 2hours all around 5kg biggest went 8kg and also got a bag of green lip Nz mussels fresh straight of the farm! ohh cant wait for next year!
  24. well done on the garfish jim certainly got some qaulity bait there! i got my mate his first king on live garfish i caught one whilest gathering yakkas and lasted about 5minutes before we got our first king yakkas didnt get touched!
