yeh i went around looking for that freakn boil aftr 8am lol couldnt find them anywhere!!!!

wow i figured i wasnt catching because it was dead calm lol but it did get windy after 8ish i left @ about 9 i just dont think this weekend was a good one all the conditions were wrong i think the fish were too lazy

Hey guys went to the harbour early sunday morning 3am launched from rose bay water was dead still and glassy we tried to berley up for some livies unfortunatly it just was not happening went over across to clifton gardens by boat tried over there as well still no yakkas or tailor so i tried my luck at jigging for some squid caught 2 squid nice size (shoulda kept them to eat heh) once the sun started coming up headed over to middle head water still dead calm saw some tailor running a mock gave it a go with some pillies (and some frozen squid) and metal lures nothing at all .. . then tried some soft plastics still nothing so went in closer to the rock cliff to try our luck on some snapper all small unfortunatly but loads of fun caught one keeper which was just legal kept it in hope of catching more unfortunatly that was all Threw the live squid in on my heavy rod nothing wanted to go for it other than smaller fish nibbling on it which eventually caused its death same thing happened to the other squid tried few other spots around the harbour around shark island etc... nothing at all few small bites that was it got back in as i was coming up to the ramp saw somone cleaning up 2 big flatty's had a small chat (im sure hes a fellow raider as i read a report from him) And that is all! nice nice where was that caught? i was in the harbour chasing some kings for fun but they didnt want to come and play

whitebait never fails for flatties up there also ppl on my boat have caught some small soapie jews on the white bait too :/ squid n whitebait is usually what i go with to brooklyn area

im thinking about taking my boat out this sunday either on botany or harbour if botany where abouts are the kingies usually ( i suck with botany bay never come home with fish ) if i go out to botany boat name is "hooked" lil 4 mtre tinny/runabout

lol ya know what sabi has the right idea each time i have caught a kingy its been withing 5 minute of spewing up over the side of my own boat hahaha I dunno about you guys but i took Kwells and they made me sick :/ minute i started with travacalm i stoped spewing and stoped catching kings i mite have to go back to chundering for kings haha

hell i have no idea about any of these fishing spots in botany bay ive tried so many times and have not been able to find anything i ve had the worst luck in side botany ever was that in the heads or just outside?

ive never seen kings inside the bay

where abouts in sydney do you guys go prawning ?

im extremly glad i walked away from that what was worse was that i was with 4 others and they didnt even come over to see what happened :/ even with me yelling ... *sigh* wont be doing that again for a long time to come anyway. i wont be going rock fishin when i see the ocean that bad ever again :/

Hey guys went to the ovens yesturday stayed till roughly 10pm swell got a little bit too crazy, was swept off my feet by a huge wave slammed feet down which gave me the grip to stay on land (stoped fishn after that pretty much packed up n left) The action was decent caught a few good sized keepers couldnt really take many pics as it was too dark and my phone doesnt have a flash basically caught 5 trevally size ranging from 30-35cm (through 2 back that were too small) 3 snapper 40cm,42cm and 34cm and a 50cm Pike damn thing gave me grief to take my hook back nice and big chompers on those things weather was shocking as i said just as the action started the weather turned for the worse so we packed up and left.

Hey guys just dropping in to say hello, ive just signed up to these forums as i saw alot of activity going on and alot of information etc Anyway names Aaron im 24 from sydney been fishing since i was able to walk i have a small 4metre runabout which usually gets me to where i need to go in enclosed waters best fish i've caught has to be Sydney harbour kingies this year hasn't been a good one so far as i've hardly caught much at all but hopefully going to change that this weekend heading out to the ovens with 3-4 mates to try my luck aparently they had caught a fair amount last week so im hoping i get lucky anyway thats enough bout me gl on the waters guys

congrats at 8years old you he's beaten me i've yet to catch a jew ive caught some monster kingies in the harbour, but no jew, hell i've went hawksbury rigged up a small rod for my cousin on my boat (5lb line) baited it casted it and the minute i passed the rod to him he caught a jew :/ that happened twice ... so good stuff lil man
