As the title says.Their is this spot at the Rip bridge where a livie or strip bait sent down as a Jew bait will come back up infested with maggot like creatures,its so gross.Any one know what these little gross things are?

I took your advise as stated.....I had to make love to my wife three times this morning and twice at lunch time and missed out on fishing the tide change....Bugger.

I have a good set up,as I told the wife.I work 5 days for the family,1 day for the wife{cutting grass,cleaning,or what else she tells me to do} and that leaves 1 day for me..for fishing.....if Im aloud out..lol

Mate I think you need to work out first what you want to chase.For $150-$200 limit I think it would handle rat Kings,any thing bigger than a rat and your reel is in trouble.Just because you are to gain access to a boat does not mean any more fish or larger fish unless you are going out to the Fads/shelf etc then at $200 bucks you would be underguned.

Go and have a chat to the old boys who fish the wall to the west of the boat shed.It might take a few visits for them to open up a bit though.But you must find the old blokes not the young imports.

I think you will find that rock platform was on Dave xxxxhhhgggs show a few years a go....and he did catch a small Jew.

The problem is as a qualified mechanic we are asked what the fault is by a layman {no offence intended} and often the description of the fault from the layman is incorrect and that is why you will see 10 different posts from 10 different people of what the fault is.I would not be mucking around with a outboard engine if you cant do or do not understand the basics in mechanics or electrical.If you don't know how to pack bearings,use a multi meter or cant change an impeller I recommend that you pay someone who can. As I say ...Just cos you seen it on YouTube don't mean its right or you can do it.

I have had two pair of Spotters.....never again.The first pair sunk{fancy targeting fishermen with out making them float}.Then the second pair I had a issue with and Spotters did not want to know,I was told that I over heated them{fancy that...I wore them out in the sun] They did offer me a replacement set at $200 though,i told them to shove it and that I would never buy a expensive pair again.Now I use Mack polarized safety glasses for around $40 and find them just as good as Spotters.

I'm right handed and have this argument all the time.I hold the rod in my right hand and wind with the left.I cant understand why right handed people hold the rod in their left hand.I don't get it ...put rod in right hand,cast,put rod back into left hand to fish..its just wrong to me.

If it was me I would go to Putty Beach,camp in the camp ground and fish the rocks at the north end for Bream,Pigs,Squid,Yakkas,small Snapper etc.Then at night fish the beach for Salmon and a shot at Jew.Or camp at Patonga and fish the creek for Flatties,or walk the beach to the rocks on the North side chasing Flatties again, or fish straight of the pier in front of the chip shop and pub.

Sorry bro but after reading this I think you need to be doing a lot of basic repairs and maintenance before you venture out again.Good luck though.

I'm amazed that there is any fish in that area due to the Draggers.I saw them three abreast last year in that section raping and killing the system.

Also that tinnie could be the one that went missing last year on its way to Bird Island off Norah Head,they never found it or the two blokes that were in it.

I have never heard of a Peugeot hub before.They are normally just Holden or Ford,unless its some home made trailer.

Up on the C/Coast we only had two choices, that big camping and boating store or the two Bias stores.I normally went to the big camping store as it was huge and easy to walk around dreaming,I tend to find the smaller Bias shops not user friendly due to the size and find that everything is just crammed in.I like to have choice and space when I'm shopping and I'm sorry but Bias just didn't cut the mustard with me.I like to support the local tackle shops when I can but some times I just don't want to climb over boxes and stuff to to get what I want.

So can I assume after 68 views that we don't have any Bass,Trout or Yellow Belly fishermen on this site,or is it some secret club and all info is highly regarded and secret.
