Hi All,
I'm interested in hiring a fishing boat & would like to know if anyone interested in splitting the cost. Would be Ok with 2 members but better that we get at least 4 keen fisho's, lowers our cost.
I know that notice is short, but would like to get out on the water 2moro or Saturday, offcourse that's if a boat is available for hire.
Places for fishing; Botany Bay, Harbour or Port Hacking.
I'm dying to get out there for some fishing, but lacking a boat to do so, sold my boat about 2 years ago, big mistake I made.
Or if anyone is interested in getting me on board their boat for company & a fish session, please let me know. We can split to cost or even better I'll pay for fuel & bait.
Cheers
Triton (Gaza )
Can always arrange for some one with a boat to take you out, id be happy to, but im stuck with maintinence for the moment, so once ive completed it msg me and we can have a bash if you want.

wallys wharf and gymea have them.
-
lol they can be caught any where in the georges. look for structure if you cant find holes.
-
cant say ive lost anything, but i just scratched my twinpower today, not happy >.< then again it happens to all my reels, so long as it aint the spool.
-
always good to see a metre + kingy, congratulations, once my boat is finally done ill hopefully post about another jewey or kingy destroying the 1m mark.
-
hey carli got a heap of greeneyes last nite
congrats

I used to work for holden, and hearing the customers wondering why they cannot start the car only to realise a mechanic got lazy and did not put it back into park.
-
oh ok awsome, was only curious, i dont want to damage the jell coat, that ive been told about, so its an expensive and long quest to get my boat looking good again :S.
-
Mate your not the only one struggling for them at the moment, they are just dead in the water, my guess is that all the schools of bonito and rat kings have demolished before they even get a chance to be taken by us, I think the only real chance you would ever get is at sydney heads for large green eyes, id go but i dont trust my motor on my boat >.< ... It will pick up when the weather gets cooler

Wow I am so jealous, what a great day, wish i could see action like that when I go outside.
-
I targetted jewies at wanda ended up with a nice bream and flatty.
-
Jealous. lol, i bought a twin power 2500 to replace my sonora for squidding, but due to lack of squid around the area, have not been out since tuesday. good stuff alphabet, look forward to meeting you on the water at some point, you seem like a nice guy.

I just got the furuno fcv 620 which is just like the 585 only smaller and without the 1 kw which you wont need anyway. I got it from the states for $950 and its an awesome unit.
They are beautiful units, when ive hit my career up and runnning (policing) ill be buying the 620, because I dont see myself fishing outside waters often.

furuno is the snap on of sounders, I only bought an ls4100, with a p66 transducer which is almost 500w, my uncle has the upper version with the 1kw version with the fcv-585. but he is a game fisherman. me I found that the ls4100, has extreme quality although black and white, shows with out hassle where fish or bait schools are. I bought it second hand for $250 while it retails at 500 tho. Guess its not what you want.

it seems interesting, it may be something ill look into the future with, next step is still garfish tho.
-
Sounds like an exciting day champ good stuff.
-
defo, fresh bait is the way to go, but fishing involves alot of luck.
-
lol mines the opposite she atleast comes out.
-
you look like a guy i saw landbased at captain cooks.
-
Pred just for the sake of it ill put in my response aswell
thing is, If I go id like Sara (my girlfriend) to come, I have a boat license and a boat, aswell as as multiple rods, but the boat ones including a culcutta 700b and my t curve bait runner. but I know if you dont have space ill happily chase you around in my boat anyways, and have a double fishing date, as I have limited boating exp, but make up for it in uncles with extreme knowledge of boating.
