Hello fellow raiders, As the title suggests some of us won't be fishing until further notice due to these unfair lockdowns with "LGAs of high concern" being affected the most. So being the last chance the wet a line I decided to throw some plastics around in Chipping Norton lake which is within my 5km zone in hope of a Jew or a flatty or two. Ended up with 5 flatties ranging from 30-45cm..perfect eating size... If it wasn't chippo lakes, but non the less had a good time. The fish were caught on Z Man 4 inch diesel minows and grubs , rigged on 3/8oz 4/0s Stay safe raiders Jeremy

It was a real struggle.. Not just with the snapper.. Couldn't find a squid, lost a good jew and pulled the hooks on biggest snapper of the trip. But that's fishing.. Always good to bump into a few raiders though @ Stew, Donna and Jeff

Hairtail.. Tough going but they are their

Great post π -
Quick report on hairtail scene at the Cowan/Hawksbury system..I have been going out once a week with a good mate for the past three weeks chasing the elusive hairtail and managed a couple of hairtail per trip. They have all taking a liking to pilchards on gangs with a red glow stick, but this season the majority of hooks ups seem to happen a couple of hours before sunset and just into the night. Tried toughing it out through the cold a chilly AM hours for donutsπ₯Ά WB has been absolutely dead compared to previous years and JB has been the go to.. Raiders what are your thoughts and experiences?

78 and 77cm fat Kings with video!
quintrex52 replied to Botany Bay Fishing's topic in Fishing Reports
Nice fish guys.. They have been so fussy.. I was fishing there on Wednesday and had similar results. Marking alot of kings but they were almost all holding near the bottom. Downrigged for an hour without a touch on fresh squid, so decided to spot lock and fish straight up and down on 30lb gear ended catxhing 5 of them, suprising all legal fish bar one. Also lost a good one but i think mr bullshark is lurking around -
