G'day Raiders,
The bass aren't quite ready to play in the little Creek at my folks place yet so I headed down to the Shoalhaven river to see if there was anything about.
Nothing but flatties. Had 2 great mornings flicking paddle tails before the kids got up for about 8 decent fish up to about 53cm.
All were released to fight another day as dad had already organised salmon for lunch.
Hopefully the bass will be back on soon so all I'll have to do is walk across the driveway to the water.
Here's a few pics.
Cheers

I agree Scratchie.
Something is missing. With some of the big names not returning next year might make all the difference though. Here's hoping.

Our dog runs around like that. sounds exactly the same but not with the treat. She is playing when she does it. Maybe he is just so happy and wants to play with his treats and that's why.

Sam, Ads, and Budz,
That was my next option if the rain had started up again. Ha Ha.
By the time spring comes around we will have no excuse for disorganised/faulty gear. ha ha
G'dqy Raiders,
It was one of those morning where I thought if I don't go for a fish soon I might go insane.. so a quick look through the emails and nothing urgent to do I headed to the cooks to see if there was anything about after the rain.
I fished the end of the run out and beginning of the incoming for a small flatty and a 36cm trevally. Dropped a few others and busted off on something else toothy.
Sanity in check I headed home for lunch.
As a side note: I have a friend out from the states that fishes for walleyes with her old man in Minnesota and has only ever used bait. I got her first fish on a plastic down at orient point. (I think it was a leatherjacket)

She sounds beautiful too. My uncle is a fanatic though. Has humidified cabinets for all his good guitars. Sounds like something stew would have for his gear. Ha ha

Good on you Stapo,
I'm not that handy but my uncle is. He always does my little fixes. I had a brand new tacki and wasn't too keen on the sound so he took it away for a couple of weeks (not sure what he did) and it sound so sweet after that.
Another time i opened up the case (which reminds me i still need to get a hard case :/) only to find the head stock SNAPPED!!!
Here's some pics of the process that he sent me.
Cheers
