I’d have to move Perth,Kalgoorlie itself or Darwin.I don’t lack job offers mate but thanks anyway. And yes I do have truck license. Long hours isn’t a problem as I’m use to it.Just looking at the hours/days/pay/being away from family for extended periods, etc and getting paid a lot less than I do now for my troubles isn’t worth it me thinks.

What I want to tell you right now I can’t as it’s a family friendly site but it ends with off!😂
-
Exactly my thoughts too mate. The more I think about it the more it’s unappealing to me. Cheers.

I’m getting the boot and been offered job in mines in Darwin or Kalgoorlie super pit.Above ground I won’t do below.More than likely driving one of the dump trucks if I go. Anyone been or know anyone or more about it?Roster will be 2:1.

Bloody @Yowie..Stop taking all the fish.Well done.

There’s trucks parked all over the streets where I live and that doesn’t stop them. Nothing happens unless a resident lodged a complaint with the council and the rangers will come and warn or fine them. The residents where this ramp is located will be a pack of whingers whinging to council. In my experience the closer to the city/water suburbs you get the more whingers there are that don’t want the 💩in there backyard and I don’t blame them with some of the grubs around parking in trailer spots, leaving rubbish behind, yahooing at all hours, etc. The solution is exempting boats and trailers during holiday season but the cost of living will come down before that happens. In other words it won’t.

Perhaps for 2 weeks or so at that time of year they could relax the law on it if they wanted but it won’t happen as if someone has a accident or something councils liable. The rule is there to stop people parking trucks and the like wherever they want causing issues. That rule has been there since god was a boy.My father in-law is ex council ranger and would give people the chance to move on or get fined. I’d take great privilege fining the imbeciles that park cars in trailer parking areas if I was a ranger. As for only being able to fish Xmas the best option is get there at sparrow fart with the whole family before the crowd. If that’s 2am it’s 2am and make sure you’re in a designated trailer parking area.

There’s always the choice of going somewhere else or home or not fishing when 6 million other people are out there. We have choices mate.No such thing as no choice. As for your post looks like the 12hr or 72hr parking is pointless as I don’t know anyone that boats/fishes for an hour. My advice is avoid any ramp during any Xmas,Easter, school holiday or public holidays as it’s a no brainer that there will be morons about and it will be packed. Thanks for warning people about getting fined.

I’m with the wifey on this.I wouldn’t feed Coles/woollies sausages to the dog sorry. Once you find a good South American butcher you’ll never look at Woolies sausages the same way. As for your previous reply about my bbq there’s as many ways to cook meat as there are ways to light a fire.

I’m Uruguayan mate.Trust me you’ll never win.We know meat.

Get more BBQs.i have 6.😂

Went down a treat washed down with a few beers. Brisket.135-140c for around 2hrs, sauced and wrapper in foil when internal temp of 70c reached then in for another 2 hrs or so until tender internal meat temp at 95c. Boat meat in foil and back on for an hour or so to finish off.Internal meat temp 105c. Wrap in foil again and wrap in tea towels and rest In esky for an hour or two. brisket was only 1.5kg. size of brisket, and even weather temp and wind will effect cook times. Use cook times as a guide but mainly go on “Looks/ meat temps”.Skewer tenderness, etc. if you’ve never done one.

Great work! The fish always look very healthy in the hacking when you see someone’s photos.I need to get out and catch some one day to confirm they are healthy.

Wish I could send you the smell.

Was going to take boat out today but the weather is crap for this fragile thing to be out so I though I’d do some gardening then.Nope it’s raining and I can’t get wet. Plan 3. Always have multiple plans on your days off.😂

Well done to Stewie. Very nice to see.

For me it’s just being out there mate having a crack when you can enjoying your family and friends having a laugh.Life flies by and today could be the last time you see that friend or family member. If you tried and come home with a feed great, if not it’s not the end of the world and you still have that quality memorable day spent with loved ones to reflect on.

Nicely done.

Agree 100%.That day was Windang ramp, low tide, slime, wet ramp from people pulling boats out, like a ice skating rink. 4wd low range, second gear(manual), slowly let out clutch while releasing handbrake and she spun and rolled back about 2 feet then grabbed and pulled up the ramp. The last person that took their car swimming won’t be the last. People think it’s a joke but happens easily enough when all the wrong variables are there.
