Four old timers were Fishin and one remarked how forChristmas this year he'd love to wake up on Christmasmorning, roll out of bed and without an argument godirectly to the lake, meet his buddies and go fishing. Hisbuddies all chimed in and said, Let's do it! We'll make ita priority, figure out a way and meet here early, Christmasmorning."Months later, that special morning arrives, and therethey are on the lake. The first guy says, "Boy this cost mea fortune! I bought my wife such a diamond ring that shecan't take her eyes off it."Number 2 guy says, "I spent a ton too. My wife is athome planning the cruise I gave her. She was up to hereyeballs in brochures."Number 3 guy says "Well my wife is at home admiringher new car, reading the manual."They all turned to the last guy in the group and heis staring at them like they have lost their minds. "Ican't believe you all went to such expense for thisFishin trip. I slapped my wife on the butt and said,'Well babe, is it sex or Fishin?' and she said,"Take a sweater..."

    All very good guys.
  6. Welcome to the site my friend.I was in the same predicament as you years ago when I use to fish beaches/rocks a little. My late friend that was a better fisherman than me showed me back then to use what is known as a spoon sinker as they are less prone to snagging as they quickly lift your rig off the bottom of the seabed.Another thing I did was use a weaker length of line from the swivel to the hook that way if I snagged up id bust off the hook and 99 times out of 100 I'd bring in the sinker. good luck with it all.
  7. Hi mate, sorry for being unclear as I was in a hurry for work. I do it everyday for 20min all up everyday until my hands stop sweating completely(Every ones different apparently) usually about a week. Then I do a maintenance of only once a week for 20min all up. If you stop doing it it will come back, you need to do the maintenance after the initial sweating has gone or reduced depending on the person. It is 100% effective on me after about a week but I get Lazy or busy and stop and it comes back. In short I'd you want to remain dry and it not return I'm afraid it's a lifestyle change that you need to keep doing for the rest of your life. I was worried about getting zapper too. Just use two 6v batteries joined in series or buy a 12v motorcycle battery at first as this will get you on your way. Im at work at the moment and if you need any help let me know as it is a life changer for me.
  8. Thanks Donna,I'll be dry as the Sahara dessert in a few days of treatment.
  9. If you need me to explain better mate,Shoot me a pm with your number and I'll run you through over the phone what you need to do as I don't with this on my worse enemy. Cheers.
  10. Here is the aluminium pans I was using. The problem with these is they get eaten through by the salt water/electricity.The same thing that happens to a alloy boat with stray electrical currents.
  11. Ok,You need a few things. You need a form of voltage for power that can range from using 6v batteries,a power supply,A old adapter etc. I started using 6v batteries wired up in series you see in the photo with a voltage of 24v(4x6v=24v),then I decided to use an old adapter for ease of carrying/simplicity which puts out 13.5v which is plenty. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS IT USES LOW AMPS,UNDER 1 AMP WHAT HURTS OR KILLS PEOPLE IS THE HIGH AMPS NOT THE VOLTS. My adapter is 450Ma which is just under half an amp. How it works is you first fill the trays with warm tap water and add a little salt for extra conductivity. You then connect the positive lead of one alligator clip to one tray and the negative to the other. If using the adaptor switch it on at the wall,if using batteries the trays will be live. Now place your hands in the trays palm down and you will feel electricity flow through your body for 10-15min. After the time is up change the leads around.Put the positive where the negative was and vice versa and treat your hands again for 10-15 min. Depending on how tough your hand are depends what they feel like during treatments.Any small Knicks and fingernails can really sting depending on the voltage used. When I use to use 24v my nails would hurt and the fix was putting vaso on them before treatment as this prevents them stinging. You need to treat your hands once a day for a week and usually they will sweat more the first few days then sweat less and less until they are totally dry or barely sweat at all even during hot weather depending on the person. Alot of people are helped with this treatment and their is a small proportion of the population that it doesn't work on. Here is a few photos of what I have and do use.
  12. This is my hand just from sitting here on the iPad.It's terrible I tell you.
  13. Thanks Donna,I developed it at around 12-13years of age and am currently using my home made iontophoresis machine to run 24v through my hands/feet.I heard Botox was a different option and will look into it. I'm pretty good during the colder months, but come the hot weather I'm like a wet sponge without treating myself.I wouldn't wish this on anyone and to make it worse it usually starts at that time of your life when meeting boys/girls etc.
  14. Does anyone have it or know someone?

A Highway Patrolman waited outside a popular local bar, hoping for a bust. At closing time, as everyone come out he spotted his potential quarry. The man was so obviously inebriated that he could barely walk. He stumbled around the parking lot for a few minutes, looking for his car. After trying his keys on five other cars, he finally found his own vehicle. He sat in the car a good ten minutes, as the other patrons left. He turned his lights on, then off, wipers on, then off. He started to pull forward into the grass, then stopped. Finally, when he was the last car, he pulled out onto the road and started to drive away. The patrolman, waiting for this, turned on his lights and pulled the man over. He administered the breathalyser test, and to his great surprise, the man blew a 0.00. The patrolman was dumbfounded. "This equipment must be broken!" exclaimed the patrolman. "I doubt it," said the man, "Tonight I'm the designated decoy!!!"

    Power loss

I think the best advice without seeing it ourselves we can give him is to take it to a reputable mechanic for peace of Mind.
  19. I like grays point or Yowie bay but most of my fishing launches are done at night. If I fish during daylight on weekends I tend to use grays point and launch prior to 6a.m.
  20. All the boat ramps are located on the other side of the river as far as I'm aware. One thing I've learnt about the port is that the better the day/weather especially in spring/summer the earlier you better be on the water as the ramps get very busy and you can have a hike and a half sometimes up steep hills going to get the car/trailer.
  21. This guys trip could have ended differently.
  22. I'd be happy with a whiting I had to lip grip.Great result!
