Iv tried using a sinker, havnt caught anything but it gets me 2 the bottom, is there any other way i can reach bottom without effecting my lures actions? The depth i will be fishing in will be around 40feet deep-80feet deep chasing snapper, flathead, jewies, kingies. cheers james

  11. Location- Lemon tree passage, Port stephons. Access: 3 laned boat ramp, very grippy even on very low tides, very deep. Facilities: Has top fish cleaning facilitys, toilets, showers, motor/boat wash down facilitys. LOADS of parking, hardly ever full over halfway, Jetty has room for about 6 x23foot boats, plastic buffers EXTREMELY user freindly, sewage pump out facility. Close to service station. Only draw back is it is a 16km run to the heads
  12. I remember seeing on getaway the tv show they were fishing on a charter boat in fiji that said if you didn't catch a fish you didn't have to pay any fee's for the day. I'll have a look around and see what i can find for you. cheers james
  13. Iv got a feeling that that corner near the headland would be holding good fish, there would be baitfish hugging the dirty/cleanwater line with predators around them. cheers james

  17. 1- it is already an oversized center console 2- every 5 feet around thegunwales. 3- nah not at all, a few raiders and a few beers a few high preassure cleaners will have the new coat of paint on in no time at all. 4- i belive the livie tank is approx 600tonnes, big enough to hold 50 or so black marlin. Also as outriggers i would recomend calling telstra and asking if you can have a set of powerpoles and for a downrigger i also recomend calling telstra for some of there underground wiring on the big wheel that sits on a towable trailer. All we need to do now is organise where we are going to stick the 15odd game chairs and a mooring. Anyone have any idea how much it would cost to moore this boat a year? Opps nearlly forgot the auxilery motorS, id say probably 8 x250 4stroke yammys ?? cheers james
  18. Iv got my own version of a loop knot, hasn't lost me a fish yet i use it for ALL my lure fishing except with skirts. cheers james

  21. In january we were coming back from the close fad due to bad weather and saw a 5 meter alloy heading out to the fad, these were nuts conditions and we were uncomfortable in a 6meter fibreglass, i think domza may have been with us on that trip. Yes cfd you love catching dollies and landing them on ridiculously light gear. cheers james
