  1. Thats great fishing. Well done. What set up do you with the electrics/rod and reel. We are using a reef queen at the moment and it is starting to get a little too painful for me especially when you pull up nothing.
  2. Arman m sure you know how jealous i would be of that catch. Unbelievable stuff, well done for the second week in a row.
  3. Thinking of heading offshore tomorrow for a troll. Anybody else doing the same. The weather does look 50/50 so still weighing up whether to go or not.
  4. Great report Mike. Awesome pictures to.
  5. The marks are on this website under "boating and GPS marks".

  7. Angie2 were the fish caught on livies or cube, would be interested to know.
  8. We trolled, bottom bashed and cubed about 2 miles se of browns for nothing. The boat you were taking about were about 4 mile SE. Heard them on the radio say they had 4 up to 50kg so it was a real good effort on there behalf.
  9. Thats awesome, well done. we were out yesterday and couldnt turn a reel, we found the garfish all over the place but it just didnt happen for us. Were you using skirts or minnows etc.
  10. Nice report. What was the weather like and were the caught on the cube/livebait. This time of yeah really gets me going, love it.
  11. What a classic call, i like it.
  12. Now thats what you call a "good week". That blue eye looks beautiful.
  13. With the weather by the weekend shaping up very nicely im thinking of giving a bottom bash at browns ago. I know it will be more a miss or hit affair but just wanted to see if anybody has had some success of late. If that doesnt pan out the rest of the day will be spent trolling. Cheers Frank
  14. I agree with the Lanox and Inox statements. I got told that I could spray that stuff freely and as much as I wanted on any reel. Really good stuff.
  15. Great report Mike. Im sure that put up a hell of fight in shallow water. Awesome stuff.
  16. If you dont have a downrigger you can try the "poorman downrigger" All you do is slow troll a live bait down deep by adding a large sinker to your main line.
  17. That is a serious hoodlum. Very close to a fish of a lifetime. Wel done.
  18. What a beast, got to be extremely happy with that.
  19. Bloody great report. Congratulations. Also was that off sydney.
  20. Great report, you should be proud of that catch, sure doesnt happen very often so well done again.
  21. Bloody nor easters in summer mean i can only fish in the morning and not the afternoon, hate that.
  22. Thanks for letting me know Mike.
  23. You could be right Mike as I saw a heap of floats on the boat. What were the conditions like on the way home and what time did you leave for home, it would have been a long day.
  24. Mike we didnt bother cubing as we had a feed and the weather wasnt too appealing to stay out too late. We ended up with 6 3-5kg blue eye and a gemfish. You might be able to help me out Mike but what was the big trawler doing around browns, the boat name was Diana, possible a longliner.
