    Stapo, Great read. (well you know). I dodged a bullet and gave up the bungers almost 5 years ago as I hit a Milestone(50). Stories like yours absolutely keep me off the coffin nails! Still think there is alot of fishing to be done. Speedy Recovery to you! Dave

    Dave Commiserations on the loss of your old faithful Squid Jig. I have one that would be + 30 years and still produces. Its pinkish and black stained with one missing feather and the other one is a bit doubtful it has not long to go. Makes me have a little giggle every time I catch a squid, to think this bit of equipment has lasted decades. Caught many a squid feed for me. Nice write up as always. Dave

    Raiders, Know your Spot! Know your seas! Wear a Jacket! Never fish alone! Do your self a favour. One day jump into a wishy washy bit of water at a beach in the flags with a jacket. Make sure it is with all clothes that you wear fishing Shoes/Cleats etc. It is not fun and scary. I went in many years ago at JulieAnne 5 people on the platform didnt see me missing for 4 or 5 waves later back out covered in claret. Very Lucky.
