Great effort dave! I know what you mean about the tourists. My record is rescuing 4 in one day! I don't go to Stockton now on holidays or long weekends. At least you got a couple champ! Hope the mrs is ok! Cheers scratchie!!!

Same up here Ian. Perfect conditions. Couldnt resist, so I took my little boat out to the fad. Found a heap of traps but didn't turn a reel wide. The islands were ok, with a few bonnies and tailor. Still a nice day to be on the water! Cheers scratchie!!!

Thanks for the offer Ian and make sure you give me a call when you head up. I do ok in the fishing and boating sense but when it comes to mechanics I'm useless. I would just like to know roughly what it will cost, that way I don't get ripped off.

Thanks for your reply. I wash it after every use but since moving near the beach 4 years ago, I just can't stop the rust. And I have nowhere to garage it. Not to mention I use it at every opportunity.

G'day raiders, Today I noticed a strange noise coming from my trailer. On closer inspection the wheels appear to have movement in them so I'm guessing I need a new set of wheel bearings? The shackles seem a bit rusted over the years too! So my question is, how much should it cost me to get these replaced? It's a dunbier trailer that suits a 4.7m boat. Cheers scratchie!!!

No worries, just let me know! Decided to head out in my boat today! Condition were awesome and I made the fad easily. Didn't turn a reel but watched a pack of small dollies chasing my lures. Seen a whale, 2 free swimming marlin that I couldn't raise and heard on the radio a 4m+ great white 1km off boat harbour. No swimming for me this arvo. Managed a few bonnie and tailor on the way home. So overall not a bad outing!
