See paikea, this site is great for old codgers and us whipsnappers. Cos if it weren't for us whippersnappers, you'd have nothing to read! Lol.
(Referring to another post)
But sincerely, good luck with your op and I hope to read some personal fishing reports from you soon!
Cheers scratchie!!!

Great bait for kings as a livie and marlin too for that matter! Or I cut small sections at a time and target snapper, blue spot flatty, mowong etc! Great all round bait!
Cheers scratchie!!!

Great effort. Don't really rate the taste of bonito myself but it makes awesome bait! Nice flatty btw!

Yes damo!!! Licking my lips as we speak! Just got the boat back today from service and its going great guns! Already heard of a few marlin boated at almark and the likes, and have collected a fair bit of gear in the off season!
In a few months, watch this space!!!

Great report zenman! The sound of that reel screaming is really addictive! Good on you for getting out and persevering with the conditions. It's a shame it was lost but can image the sight of a jumping blue that big! Oh yeah!

Well done on your first session! I'm too, a rookie yak fisho and would agree the first outing is not a time you would take your phone! Lol.
But I couldn't agree more with the things you noticed like, when casting, stealth, landing a fish. It does take time to get used too but just adds another method to get out on the water and fish!
Great work!

Welcome to the site! The best suggestion I have is to read as many articles you can. Read the fishing reports people post and then asks any questions that may think will help you.
But the best way is to get out there and participate. Then you can work out what you are doing wrong.
Good luck!!!

Between $500-$700 for the top guys to do it.
Thanks mate.
Not after a repairer, just a rough idea on costs!
I know Huey marine the best! Just geographically not an option!

Hi raiders,
Just a general question on how much a full service on a mercury 75hp two stroke 2007 model should cost??

Thanks jeff will let you no should be able to tee a day together at the moment all my mates want to come out but it's not that easy it's game fishing good days and bad days. Let me no about the marlin and kingies is it to early for the blue swimmers mate.
Brian
No problem. My boats in being serviced now for the upcoming season, so keen for a tandem fishing trip if you are. Might even have a spare spot.
The blue swimmers are just starting I think, gauging by the amount of pots people are putting out!
I will pm you my number if you want to call for any info!
Cheers scratchie!!!

Awesome Pete! The jewies mustn't like you much?? I got mine on a SP on my first attempt! Lol.
I know you are relieved to have that monkey off your back because you messaged me within seconds of landing it!!!
Well done champ! They can only get bigger from there!!

Mate, with those qualifications you should move up here to port stephens! Williamtown airbase around the corner and you shouldn't have a problem getting a job there! Must admit the fishing is pretty ordinary up here! NOT!
Good luck!
Cheers scratchie
