    GPS using an iPhone

    Agree. Navionics is the best app available. That is pretty much all I use. If you goto general settings on your iPhone and put auto lock on "never" it works as good as any GPS. However this does drain your battery somewhat, so once you hit your mark, just press your master button and let it run in the background. The app holds around 200 GPS marks and will also track you trip, give you distances, allow you to plan routes, etc. On an iPad is even better than most fixed GPS's.

    Congrats prawn star!!! It was a great weekend and even better to see a raider get on the board. There were a few of us up here but I think you were the only one to finish a place. Trust me not through a lack of trying!!! The senior champ overall is the best fisho up here and was well deserved. I've already hatched my plan for next year and can't wait!

    Once again congrats! Great fish, you deserved it!

    Welcome mrs groper! One piece of advise I will give you is....... You need to remember that fishing with mr groper should be FUN. It is not fun when your PB's beat his. This is why mrs scratchie is no longer allowed to come fishing! It was no longer fun seeing her out fish me and my mates! But with all that been said, you go girl!!!

    Yep. They were everywhere! My mate hooked one on a bib but didn't stick. The next day he said he seen six or more dancing together. But the water is changing daily, so hopefully the weekend is ok and I'm out there!

    Sorry guys I'm out pulled pin yesterday... Got a baby due in 2 weeks and the missus not well ... Anyway good luck guys !!! Love the bay and have fished it hard for years but life sometimes gets in the way of fishing... Mmm ... Had a good plan too!!

    Sorry to hear that but having a child is the catch of a life!
