I have heard a few different knots to use when connecting leader to the mainline! What knot do you use?

I have heard the same thing. Yet I have used live whiting on heaps of occasions and have never caught a thing! I even had one out there when I caught a big Jew but it took my servo squid!!! So for me I tend to use live yakkas, slimed or tailor!

Will do. I'm pumped for the trailer boat tournament this weekend. I have the leave pass, the crew and now the gear! It's just up to the weather to stay as forecast and of course the fishing gods to shine on me!Nice reel scratches, must admit I absolutely love my tyrnos 30, smooth, heafty and runs real well; looks good to! I'm sure you'll have lots of good fishing outings with it. I've had mine for around 5 years and just had it serviced, for no reason inparticular but just thought I should & it's running as good as out of the box. Let us know how you go with it.

I just bought the tyrnos50 spooled with 700m of 24kg for $400. Think I did ok? Used same set up the other week and was a great setup. Had to have one. Can't wait to use my own this weekend!

I recommend a shimano tyrnos 50L2. Just bought one fully spooled for $400. Will hold anything for kings to marlin. Just my 2 bobs worth.
