Hi guys,
I'm having some real problems with my 1kw transducer. I'm intermittently lose bottom at depth (200m +) even though I'm just drifting.
I have a Airmar TM260 with a Lowrance HDS 7 Gen2 Touch. It some how feels like It hasn't got enough power or something.
Settings are:
* Installation selected - Airmar TM260 (5K)
* Deep water mode
* Frequency - 50/200HZ
* Ping Speed - 12
I can understand if I was losing bottom while underway (due to a bad installation), but i can't understand why i'd lose bottom just drifting.
This is annoying me like crazy.. please help.
