    Managed to get the boat out today on a beautiful winter's day. Took a couple of shots from the boat. Fish didn't come out to play, but still a beaut day on the water.

    Carp in saltwater, wow. I bet that was a surprised catch. You are correct dangles. It is recommended that you kill the carp, but it isn't illegal to release it where you caught it. It is only illegal to transport the fish to another location and release it.

    We obviously have some talented raiders to be able to pick up the japanese.

    Didn't know there was any good fishing up Mullet Creek. Never tried it myself. Thought it was a shallow area.

    Starting to think I might have to go down to the local co-op and buy some blackies, attach them to a hook and tell my wife that I caught them. Hope the dry spell comes to an end soon.

    You are right Roberta, not many blackies around in the lake. if they are around the headlands, I wish they would come into the lake. I have been around to some of the local spots and even the dedicated blackie fishos are having a had time catching any fish.

    Wow, look at the size of that carp I lived in the UK for 7 years and they absolutely love carp.
