    I used to live in Belmont and fish in cold tea creek next to squids ink hotel. Good for flatties on SP's there's also a big lagoon over the back with some good weed edges aswell Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Hey Raiders Heading out of Botany Bay tomorrow does anyone have info on where the Kings are hiding at the moment. Do they hang around the Peak in the winter or is it mainly hoods hanging aroung the shallower reefs? Cheers Katoe

    I agree but if they do get a virus like they did for rabbits then hopefully it might eventually be achievable I'd love to see the creeks and rivers back where I grew up returned to the prime fishing my late grandfather told me about. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Without carp I'm sure these lakes u fish would bounce back with native fish. The fact is carp are a man made disaster for Australian Eco systems just like the cane toad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    In regards to the why don't they net them fisheries actually has a couple of projects in which they are trying to approach it just the same as they did with the rabbits with targeted viruses etc. and the lakes wouldn't of been stocked with carp they would of swam in through a flood. This seems to me to be a bigger issue than some kids enjoying catching them considering the damage they do to the Eco system. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I kill them every chance I get. They are a feral pest and have decimated our native fish. It's a shame they are so destructive and crap to eat because they are an awesome fish to catch. We even used to freeze them then use them as bait in pig traps, pigs love to eat them and the stinky bastards attract animals from a long way away haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Yeah love getting back to the fresh, with the added bonus of hunting makes for a good break from city life!!

    My grandparents have a property at Terry Hie Hie and my fishing spot is about an hour drive from there.
