  1. Jeffb5.8 the one you mentioned was at Lake Macquarie (central coast). Police had a report of a capsized boat and found him walking along the shore soaking wet. The story is on NSW Police online news.
  2. There's also a nice long break wall to fish off. We caught a heap of big tailor using the old school wonder wobbler chrome lures.
  3. Honestly don't know . To get to the iisland you need to take the car ferry . When I went many years ago we were land based do a google search quite a bit of info there
  4. Have a search of Comerong Island. It has river and beach fishing not far from Nowra. I have camped on there with dogs before although it was many moons ago.

  9. I was at Picnic Point this morning. Very quiet not even small picker bream which is unusual.
  10. Top reward for all the effort you have put in. Gongrats. Is the pic taken behind the German club?
  11. Great video Farvos. The guy in the white shirt has some serious guns. Are they from fishing?
  12. Yep nice minty smell. I also flossed the tires with a screw driver. All those small rocks caught in the tread. HA HA
  13. Leaving it out in this mini heatwave we are supposed to have can only help. Wether it's good enough to dry it out who knows. Run a drill through it on the weekend not too big and check the wood for dryness with the wood that stays in the drill bit. Scratchies on the money Fab1 will steer you right.
  14. HA HA HA your boss is probably a Raider and read your post about having all day to search the forums. Better luck next time.
  15. Just used homebrand tooth paste with fluoride. $1.70 a tube
  16. Thanks Guys I just thought it was strange. Never seen them here before. Koi carp can cost Hundreds of $$$. Bet the neighbors not impressed.
  17. Hi Raiders. Just wanted to share a tip i got this week. My headlights were getting that dull/faded look about them. A guy from the big road side assistance mob told me to polish them with tooth paste. Done it today and they come up like new. (can actually see the bulbs now). I used WW own brand. Has to be paste not Gel.
  18. Hi Raiders. I was just chilling out on the verandah in the shade when I saw a flock of birds flying quite high. I said to my son there big birds they look like Pelicans. He said your going mad there's no water around here. I grabbed the binoculars and sure enough ten Pelicans. I live at ingleburn and in 25 years have never seen them around here before. We're they lost?
  19. Hi Max welcome to Fishraider. Google Shoalhaven River another option really close to Berry.
  20. As Fab1 said the next 3 days are going to be 35+ degrees get it in the sun. That should dry it out good.
  21. Looks really good sqidMarks a nice piece of workmanship. Lesson learnt next time you have a gut feeling just go with it
  22. Hi Allen. I just bought a smart battery charger to charge the battery for my 18lb watersnake trolling motor which I have fitted to my kayak. It will charge batteries from 1.2 up to 32a/h. Your battery is 1.3 so it would suit. Only problem is that they cost more than the battery and around the same price as a small motor i paid $130. The upside is if you ever decide to add a motor to your kayak the charger will do both. PM me if you need more information or where to buy.
  23. All the grinders jigsaws explosives will be useless if ADMIN put a big padlock on this thread as none of them will be able to reopen it.
  24. Every time I go to Picnic Point i clean up after people. I have a dedicated tray in my tackle box where I place all the left behind hooks sinkers swivels and so on. Probably have around $20 worth of discarded tackle so far. There's a lot of grubs around.
