My mate lives 50mtrs from the lake. He ssays it's full of flatty's but after all that rain they had i would probably leave it a few weeks. Since they opened it to the sea a few years ago probably more like 5 years the fishing has improved dramatically. Water is so clear and clean know you can actually see whiting swimming around.
I once watched a show on TV from Japan. Customers in a restaurant would order toad/puffer fish and the chef would cut out the poison glands but leave just enough so when eaten the customers lips and tongue would go numb. Some type of delicacy. Talk about playing Russian roulette.
No disharmony in the team? Clarke was a brilliant cricketer over many years but he brought a lot of trouble to the team himself remember a talented opener who was never to play for his country ever again because of Clarke. Simon Katitch
I was at Picnic Point last Monday. Had 2 rods out for over an hour without a touch. Moved to Lambeth park reserve for same result. Stopped at Milperra Bridge because it was on the way home. I bought half a kilo of fresh school
prawns and used only 6. Don't worry your not Robinson Crusoe its just bloody hard this time of year. Bring on Summer.
Hi Raiders. Just a question out of curiosity! Today I was looking in the fishing section of a Km@$t store. They had a gimbal belt there. What is the purpose of the bolt running through the middle where the rod is supposed to sit. Surely it doesn't go through a hole in the rod! You could end up in NZ. Seriously i have no idea that's why I'm asking.
Buy yourself a set of kayak holders that fit on to the roof racks. You won't regret it. If your racks are the Rhino brand even better. With the paddle and water in the yak issue do you have the rubber stoppers on each side of the handle to stop the water running onto you?
Looking on ebay there called a drip ring.
Cheer up Bro fishing is all about fun. Everyone has bad days (and plenty of them). Where about in Sydney are you. Fishraiders are all over Sydney I'm sure you will be contacted by someone to help you.
Hi Raiders. Looking through the local paper i saw this. Caravan Camping, 4WD, Fishing and Boating Show. Menangle Paceway 21 to 23 August. A lot of Raiders live in the Macarthur so just thought I'd post this
Australia A are playing India A at this moment in a one dayer. Usman Khawaja 100. Joe Burns 154. Get them on the next plane to England. Joe Burns was in the test team here last summer and went ok. Don't know why he missed out for Vouges.
