We tried to find them that morning but to no avail we ended up with an 80 cm jew right at the end of the morning...thank god..been up since 8am sat morn so was delirious by 10 am sunday! Will be out hunting again on saturday morn cheers mate top fish! jason
  2. yeah what an idiot sounds like a lemon canon is in need
  3. Ahh still nice to hear you were out mate i had a very sweaty day at wotk and wished i was on the water!! Nice species of shark to catch , i caught a similar size bull shark just south of pickering point in 80ft of water last april. cheers Mike see you out there soon jason
  4. Great report Kelvin ,you are a great bloke to be taking and showing these guys what and where to do it!! Theres something great about putting people onto beautiful fish in sydney harbour because you can easilly spend your life catching bream/flatties etc without ever landing a king/jew! We are very lucky to have such a diverse range of fish to target! Cheers again Jason
  5. Hey what a beautiful Flattie Mike!!! Im a bit useless with the ole sounder , i even pulled out the instruction book out last night to have a look at the various attributes it had. One interesting thing it said was 2D is much better for determining bottom hardness ,texture and locating structure/details. 3D gives you a good overall feel for the terrain and target location........ So i still use the 2D because the amount of times ive caught fish and nothing is showing on the sounder definately outweighs the times it has shown fish. Well done again mate top Flattie for an experimental run !! Cheers Jason
