heya Stew ive bred fronnies /tropheus/uaru/sturisoma panamense/peppermint bristlenose ull need a colony of them. At a minimum 6-8 fish comprising a dominant male and a subdominant and then of course 4-6 girls. i found the dominant male seems to breed more consistently if hes got potential competition for his harem of babes. preferably a tank with coral sand as substrate and make caves out of dead live rock or large pieces of coral rubble.They like to excavate under large pieces of rubble and make caves You ll find each fish needs its own private place to go to be comfotrtable. this ensures a high ph and hard water I used to milk the females of eggs and gently bubble them in a net in a holding tank attached to the main tank the breeding tank was a 6x2x2 a varied diet and regular 25-40 percent water changes use a good water conditioner like sera toxivec or get a reverse osmosis unit u can do it without substrate as its easier to keep clean but make sure you still have caves for them cheers jase

i just wanna know where netic gets his squid from during the day in the harbour.(not the squid alley either) seein as were all bein friendly like anytime ive used "spot x" its been a piss take anyway so many people carry on about it its a bit of a larf it is traditional for fishermen to be wily secretive types so whats new?? i prefer to fish out in the main channels anyway so its not rocket science as to what im doin and where. I reckon the quiet types dont even post on the net. good luck and tight lines and bring on summer!!!!!!!!

Oh man thats BRILLIANT!! Mate i saw Des Toms dive in the water at Quarantine after a baitrunner that was ripped out of a clients hands by a big king....Haha thats right he even emptied essentials from his top pockets haha(2 weeks earlier a 150lb bull shark was caught there) he emerged 15 - 20 feet from the boat because of the current lol brave! He climbs aboard dripping wet and fuming hehehe ... as u would be 10 minutes later i hear "Oi! ive got it!!" hed managed to jag it off the bottom !! make a great set of cartoon pictures lol cheers jason

Bloody well done ! I t will be a long time for me untill i can get out and afford to jig for kings! My sons braces will have to be paid for etc etc etc lol luckilly i know the orthodontist ! The harbour will have to do! I am in awe cheers jason!

well done mate all the spot x's are producing fish intermittently hopefully long enough so i can say i caught a harbour king in june as ive got to bloomin well miss out this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are the best looking freshwater fish let alone being almost Legendary now they are so rare to catch...well done mate!

i wish i had the freezer space to do that!! i bought a vacuum sealer from ebay for 100 bucks and that works amazingly well only thing is it stinks so i gotta keep it in the garage ahhhh i wont be getting my 6 hours of squIDDinggGGG this weekend i have to go see a band at the metro called CLUTCH which is good but bad because im not going to get my fix this weekend!
