  4. Hey Matt They move even further downriver than Como, have heard of them picked up in Botany Bay during this winter gone, I have actually only ever knabbed them at these times. Will have to get further up river this summer and try my hand at luring them out of the snags. Chris

    Help!

    Well this new boat thing, how long does it last??? I was out for 4 hours this morning and barely had a cast!!! well i did get a few chops and a couple of bream,lost a nice flattie... but man am i putting some hours on the boat!! so far the hour meter is sitting on 12..and it;s only been 8 days
  6. I fish 5kg on my 2-4kg spin stick and use a higher than average drag at times for the jews and kings, no probs at all and the rod perfoms flawlessly, theres quite a few others Im sure that do the same. It isnt just expensive rod brands either, I do this with my Berkley Dropshots..

  16. same method i use, works a treat! and the spare spool idea, fill in reverse and refill 2nd spool ensures a perfect result! Chris

    Advice Needed.

    Hi Joe your gear is perfect, 2,4 or 6lb for fishing in wider sections that are less snaggy and then the 10lb for when it gets heavier!! I always give the poppers a go, well worth it! for HB's try attacks, or your ecogears etc, they all work (bass aren't all that fussy) Spinnerbaits and Jigspins are also well worth using! good luck!
