    Congrats Nectic.

    I reckon i saw your boat at the spit around that time.

    Unfortunately i was coming over the spit in a cab, soon as i saw a boat there i wanted to get out straight away.

    Heading into Middle Harbor in an hour to see what i can find.

    Hello raiders,

    Just having a quick discussion with my mate about the Tuna being caught especially old mates massive 80kg fish in the reports section.

    I was wondering what do you do with that much Tuna? We are looking to go out on a charter somewhere sometime this year and wondered what everyone else does with it all. Do you line up sushi bars or restraunts and sell it to them? Or do the Charter operators have deals with the fish markets?

    I only take what im gonna eat, but just wondered what others did when they catch 3 or 4 of em.

    Mmmmmm Andrew...sounds interesting. Does she marinate the chicken in the cola or use it in a batter of some sort?

    ive heard of roast beef in coca cola as well. You chuck the lump of meat in the pan and open a couple cans of coke and just poor it over, bit of salt and wack her in the oven. The coke carmalises into a gravy.

    and also when i do my beer batter i always make sure to add ice cubes into the batter when mixing the beer and a little water. Then i let the batter chill a bit with the ice cubes in it. The ice gives turns the batter into the lightest crispy batter you could eat.

    Pity to hear you didnt get any yesterday Kiwi Dan as the bite was hot for a hour or so till the tide bottomed out.

    yeah i think i made a bad decision in choosing my times. I headed straight to Manly when the tide was high to try for squid and tried a few other places in the harbor but didnt come back to MH until the wind got up.

    By that time the anchor wouldnt even hold so had to borrow a nearby mooring.

    Did manage to find a school of sharks though which we played with for a while landing 3 or 4, they were a lot of fun!!

    Yeah, if you can do a run to Berowra, I can open the workshop and put a couple of stiches in for you.

    If its real bad, a mob in Mt Kuringgai who do our big work can help

    Hello all,

    I need to get a little bit of work done on my trailer, anyone know anywhere I could get some welding done at a reasonable price.

    I need to do 4 welds on the guards over the top of my wheels. The old welds are broken off so it would need to be ground back and rewelded clean.

    I live in Cremorne.
