  1. Hey guys,

Heading down south during my early 2 week school holiday and am hoping to get a fish in! we are mainly spending our time in Wagga Wagga and Griffith. From google maps it looks like the Murrumbidge river is an option in Wagga and Lake Wyangan might be a good place for yellow belly and Murray Cod. I think there is a Murray Cod closure around December time to let them spawn though. Anyway am just looking for some pointers about fishing down that way! Also is anyone can recommend any local tackle stores ill be able to support i'd be thankful!

    Thanks in advance!

  2. If small to medium fish is small inshore snapper, trevally and flathead, 12lb line should be fine. but if you want to target smaller fish 8lb or 10lb will be fine.

There isnt really much difference between 4lb and 10lb line other the diameter of the line and strength.

    Hope this was some help.

  3. Guessing you are talking about land based,

maybe try using a small float if sinker is needed but is sinker isn't needed (small current, tide or waves) just skip the sinker and the bait will drift down slowly and won't feel the weight of the sinker wedging itself inbetween rock.

If a place is too rocky or weedy it might be better going somewhere else. It can be very annoying i know....
