  1. for a motor that size a collabsable tank (Drum.bucket) available from all good boating stores i reckon would be better hammy for your situation and a rule people often break flushing motor on muffs or drum always keep your eyes posted when flushing cheers dunc333
  2. yes thanks mate in summer i get some good size ones at the weddingcake but not so in winter i seem to catch alot of small ones 250grams to 500grams. i really enjoy the sportsmanship of catching them it like a game of chess it has come quite addictive lol .

  4. hi guys and girls im wanting to target some big winter leatherys from my boat in sydney harbour ,i have had some success at goat island and cockatoo island but i want target some 1kg + jobs anyone have any intell you could share cheers dunc333

  8. what about running some synthetic or semi synthetic 2 stoke oil in her less smoke more power but it is abit more expensive amsoil brand could be the go. or as noelem said give it a good flogging if you do alot of idling cheers dunc333

  13. i use moeller bulbs pricey but like tank fittings you get what you pay for i guess well done with the diagnosis xd cheers dunc333
  14. there is 2 prop places in Qld that will have a new one at your door in 1 day no more than about $280 i reckon cheers dunc333 pm me if you cant find them on the google
  15. glad you can do the tests another sign your rectifier is caput your tacho needle will start jumping around
  16. dont know how to repost it but recall is still there product safety recall australia mecury the one i found was for 30 to 60 hp but im sure they are all the same rectifiers
  17. i had a 2004 merc and there was a recall on the rectifier as recall said it could catch fire mercurys solution was to put a fusable link before it they just supplied a waterproof fuse block i cant remember what size fuse .it was put on my motor and i never had a issue im sure if you look up recalls for merc in australia it would come up cheers dunc333
  18. yes after reading the usa reviews myself sounds like the epoxy is the go for sure .one guys said he added a bead of silcone around pad for piece of mind cheers dunc333

  20. a quick check for fuel issue check primer bulb is full and firm and not sucked in check breather on tank is open ..and then report what noel said about plug condition cheers dunc333
