Just quickly this is what i found google bream growth rates and plenty of info judge it your self right or wrong

nice bream there anything over 40cm takes about 20 to 25 years to grow id put that bream 30 years plus and 2.2 kilos had a book with all the details on breams off the top of my head 5-8 years to get to 25 cm and 1cm every year after that i could be slightly wrong .

yeah it is getting boring im starting to lose interest see how we go this season other wise we will try some else for a change

sorry Steve totally missed your post that's a ripper of a jew may i ask why did you us mullet fillet is it because they are on the run at the moment? i haven't caught many jews a few mostly by catches when fishing for bream last one was a few years back under captain cooks bridge 2 of them both mid 80 cm that took blood worm one after the other in very windy conditions im over due i think for another by catch. cheers Jim bream

Hi Tony just read it again and laughed my head off so funny you no you just don't handle or even touch someones rod it can end a friendship right there with some people i get very cranky when someone touches my rod any way i wouldn't be calling him again with the chicken you say no luck very strange its works wonders for me 3 outings hasn't failed your not cutting up a chicken souvlaki are you i think not but just checking any way good catch and funny post .cheers Jim bream

Tony yes bad news for sure who nos how the spill will affect the fishing but that spot will slow down in the next few weeks and we will have to move to other parts of the bay i will not fish for another 3 weeks hope fully things settle by then black bream plenty this week just get a can of degreaser .

i don't no if you heard but today media release says on Saturday oil slick 2 kilometers spread down the bay from kurnell refinery as boats tried to disperse it and its ended up on the beach leaving a black oil stain

penguin bugger feeding the fish squid 20 squid i would of kept it for my self i wouldn't even tell my mother about it

George give it ago i will tell you were to go ive told the groper but hasn't gone yet if you get the right night you will hit big numbers out there anchor one spot and that's it chicken hasn't failed me yet. cheers Jim bream.

i only got 24 plenty fish still there watch out for the guy with the big head lamps he thinks hes going shooting .
