Hi raiders with the third outing of the season decided to go regardless of the small tides so i picked Friday night no wind not like the last time with worms and chicken again the worms worked well with the whiting and the chicken caught all the bream and two legal snapper now i fished kurnell which is very good spot at nights been there number of times with nobody there this time i was amazed with more than 10 boats in the area there was one idiot there he circled the boat once then another two times coming with in 10 meters of my boat very annoyed but what can you do i shouted out the third time and off he went obviously trying to see what i caught it was slow going but managed to catch a few would of liked to stay longer but one of the boys had work in the morning about 4 half hours spent fishing was not a bad trip looking to get out a bit more. cheers Jim bream

Hey Tony nice report and about time im sick of of looking at the gropers snapper reports lol hey im joking groper. no one is posting bream so i had to rev you to post and a good read it was but you never have to much bait ive had this problem before you just pack up and go home you no for next time im pushing to go this weekend depending on conditions ive only being out twice this summer and if your out there this week i will pull up cut your line or two and say hello i no were to find you. cheers Jim bream

Now Tony from what have read phosphorus reduces the oxygen in the water work the rest out its not that hard google it you ll find all the information you need .Ive had the older generation tell for years phosphorus no good boy and never asked why they do no some thing don't they . cheers jimmy

Tony a lot question marks there i really don't no what you are trying to say regarding phosphorus i don't much about it its just what people say negative fishing i was in 2.2 meters of water in weed that some were near your spot right i might have to follow you around to like every one else .

Hi Tony ye it was a nice bag but the disappointing thing was the wind i couldn't get out of the river so turned back two or three times when the wind finally dropped i got out to the top of the bay at 1.30 am which roughly gave me 4-5 hours which was ok next thing i couldn't find the exact spot moved 3 times and ye got it finally i had a splitting head ache and i was all over the place but i think the most impact was phosphorous in the water which im told affects the fishing in a negative way that basically sums it up i didn't have a good fishing trip that night the chicken seams to out do the yabbies and beach worms only problem the whiting wont take its only the bream and the snapper two fishing trips and the chicken just about caught all the bream . cheers Jim bream

Hi raiders yes not as good as last outing but still got a fair catch of fish the exact same spot but in early hours of the morning to get the run in tide it was tough with the wind moving the boat around and it being cold for the first time i was thinking of my warm bed and wanted to go home i think after so many years of bream fishing im starting to lose interest time will tell any way 23 fish a crab and 38cm snapper the boys also dropped 4 fish at the boat again poor judgment and no patience's all fish caught on chicken except whiting caught on beach worm.cheers Jim bream

Good size bream you got there usually most big breams caught at night well done

Hi penguin most of the boys don't post any more because of the comments made and to tell you the truth i was going to do the same but no i will keep posting every time i go you please some and don't others and that's the way it goes this site needs people to post so i ask every keep posting regardless how big or small your catch is to keep the site interesting and to leave a good comment for the person who posts cheers Jim bream

Hi George and well said ive being looking for weeks for a fishing report on bream in botany bay with no one posting which i feel is a let down for every body i did not no what to expect just read the conditions and went reports help every body here and that's what the site is for .

ye i practice catch and release in Sydney harbor or if the fish that has three eyes and the under sized fish i released 20 fish but i did have other people on the boat today i kept 2 fish for my self 4 for my mother and 4 for the pensioner next door the rest the boys took and good on them they with in their rights to do so if you want to catch and release good on you if you feel good about it i feel good about giving them away and have being doing for years. cheers Jim Bream

Hi raiders first fishing trip for the season and what a session bream more bream and even more bream they just kept coming and coming we anchored in one spot and that was it 18.3 degrees of water 3.2m in depth and the interesting thing was the number of blue nose bream and what bait they were taking i don't recall catching any blue nose bream this time of the year now this is a first for me nearly all the bream were caught on chicken breast fillet they just loved it rather than the yabbies very strange any way 43 fish and one octopus was the total fair few bream over 35 cm cheers Jim Bream

i no a place were the same number of bream are don't no its the same you taken the footage i feed them all the time when i go there and its in the harbor
