The only lure I remove the belly treble on is rebel teeny wee crawfish and I will then change the rear treble to a size larger This seems to work well in snaggy situations -

Ive caught plenty of fish on SPs at night under bridge lights Ive found that you have to upsize your SPs so they are more noticeable

I like fly clips for ease of changing SPs but only the s/s ones like no knot fas snaps At a dollar each here they are a bit too expensive and I can only find XL where I prefer L Ill take some off your hands if you have too many thanx Dave

Ive got a butterworth silver bream with a shimano 1500 baitrunner on it its a good bait rod just cast it out flick the baitrunner on put it in a rod holder sit back and relax with a bundy and coke

I dont think you should use grease A light machine oil is what you need and make sure you clean the bearings before applying new oil
