  1. Im thinking if getting a couple of TN50s for bream I reckon an ayu and a gold one would cover most situations

I currently have a freshwater MG bowmount on my tinny with an anode on the shaft its always washed with fresh water after use and have no signs of corrosion I used to have a freshwater MK transom mount which didnt have an anode was also washed after every use and showed no signs of any corrosion I had that motor for about 4 years
  3. I use 60lb mono on my small one for bream and bass lures as well as SPs and for the big one I use the green cord which is rated to 275lbs

  8. There is campbelltown produce store on Blaxland road that sells chook pellets by the kg thats not to expensive I used to get mine there when I used to bait fish

  11. I had a 30lb endura for about 4yrs and it was only used in the salt never had any trouble at all with it all it got was a hose down after use and I didnt have an anode either sold it after I got a bowmount

  13. You would think that the prop shaft on all minkotas would be the same dia and thread therefore the prop shaft anode would fit all of them if not you would think that they would have a prop shaft anode to suit all their motors
  14. A shaft anode on a composite shaft is a waste of time you will not have a corrosion problem there unless it is a metal shaft like a motorguide What you want if you get a composite shaft is a propnut anode which are available from minkota
  15. I fish St Georges Basin a fair bit and the fishing has certainly improved there as well

Im with nrma I must have been lucky the guy I spoke to actually knew about boats I had to make a claim when someone ran into the back of my trailer writing it off as well as the transducer and prop took it all down to Hunts marine they organised everything and it all went smoothly cant ask for more than that
  19. You can get marine grade wire at BIAS the difference is that it is tinned

  21. Narra I would go to boat sites and do a comparison betwwen your boat and their boats that are the same and check the recommended HP for their boats and work from there

  23. I use a SFS stella matched to a 10 year old 1000 symetre and squidgy spin matched to new 1500 sedona
