  1. Interesting Red It always amazes me how things that are fun have at times been banned
  2. England invented soccer This is Soccer! There is documentary evidence that a a game or skill building exercise, involving kicking a ball into a small net, was used by the Chinese military during the Han Dynasty - around the 2nd and 3rd centuries BC. Earlier evidence - of a field marked out to play a ball-kicking game has been found at Kyoto, in Japan. Both the Greeks and ancient Romans played a soccer-type game which resembled modern soccer - although in this early version, teams could consist of up to 27 players! It is impossible to say accurately where and when soccer started - but it is reasonable to assume that some type of ball game - from which the organised sport we know today developed - has been played somewhere on the planet for over 3000 years.
  3. I love my football(soccer) Theres nothing bigger than the worldcup so I will be up
  4. One of the rangers is a mate of mine Ill see if I can find out if they know what causes the barra to do that
  5. At that size it would have been a female barra getting a tan to look good for the males Strange thing to happen to a barra though may have recently been caught and hadnt been revived properly and you may have forced some water through her gills and revived her Did you tell the rangers about it?
  6. Ive had a lot of success on 4in nilsmaster invincibles both the deep and shallow versions

    State Of Origin

You cant blame the halves when the forwards arent going forward Im glad QLD won
  9. Excellent result even with the poor refereeing Guus is a tactical genius and we played very well never lost composure at all playing with 3 strikers and 2 attacking midfielders at the end payed off It could of left gaping holes at the back but the defence performed extremely well
  10. I think Holland will go a long way now they seem to have solved the infighting that has troubled them for the last 20yrs If the aussies do well in the first game against Japan they could get to the second round I hope the occasion doesnt get to them
  11. Being a proud aussie of dutch descent I thought it would be a good test for the aussies I dont think you can read to much into friendlies as far as results go Guus started the game with an attacking style of game that left space in the defence for the dutch to exploit Schwarzer kept us in it Second half we played more defensive to let them come at us and try and catch them on the break especially towards the end when he brought on two quicker strikers Good save by Van de Sar off Viduka but the ball hitting the ground well in front gave Van de Sar the time to get across to it Bring on the world cup

  18. Fishing at night with SPs can be very good Ive caught plenty of flatties EPs tailor been wrapped around pilons by jewies and have even caught a blackfish hooked in the mouth all of it done off a bridge Best SP by far for me is a 65mm squidgyfish in jellyprawn rigged on a 5gm jighead I wont say where but I would say any bridge with lights and a footpath will work
  19. The girls in my family have discovered abc2 is screening live netball on a friday night so Ive been told we need a set top box What I need to know is do we need a special antenna for it? or can I just get a box plug it all in and away we go

    Check Pitot?

A pitot tube is used for fluid flow measurement so yours is probably blocked which is why your speedo isnt working Sorry I cant help you with any more as I dont know anything about your outboard
  21. A stiffish tip for SPs Whatever movement you make with the rod must translate to the SP especially when shaking or using flickbaits where short sharp flicks work best I dont think high performance guides matter as much as keeping the weight down
  22. I prefer uplocking as well
  23. Yep your right Saqa the current trend is for longer rods which are better for flats fishing and deep jigging the shorter 6ft6in rods are still there for flicking sps under trees mangroves pontoons and wharfs I fish the ABTs and it amazes me the amount of rods some of the guys carry on their boats of varying lengths and tapers each setup for different techniques Looking forwards to seeing what you are working on
