  5. Hi Everyone , I would just like to point out that all inflatable PFD 's need to be serviced every 12 months to be waterways friendly as a lifejacket . All inflatable PFD have a manufacturing date and if yours is more than 12 months old it will not be counted as a lifejacket... Cheers Dogtooth... 8. Hi , If your looking at a second hand glass boat look at a Mustang 1750 tournament , we used to fish 3 up all the time at browns and the shelf and always felt safe it had a 135 hp you often see these boats for under 20 k and are a bargain . If your looking at a new alloy boat have a look at a Jopalo plate boat , my mate gats his soon and they are pretty impressive . If your looking at a alloy second hand have a look at the predator hulls 5.6 metre . It all depends on where you plan to fish , if the shelf and beyond is your thing go for a glass hull . cheers John.
  9. Nice flathead and even better Jew.. just goes to show live bait is the go.... cheers John...
  10. Hi Ray , Slinky is on the money , Cotten cordell popper ,they are not cheap but will get you the desired results or cost you a fortune in lost lures..... Another good lure is they spray poppers , will try and post a couple of pics later , usually found in the bargain bins at your tackle store just need to upgrade rings and hooks if fishing heavy tackle . Fishing marker bouys or calmer water , Owner tango dancer 115 is a great strong lure out of the box , lots of action ( definatley a must have ). River to sea make a similar lure , rover 128 both work well, fished winding flat out of popper style fishing with pauses Cheers Dogtooth.... . John....
  11. Nice King and Superb effort fishing solo.... Cheers... John
  12. Very nice reel , The only downside is the gear ratio is to high once fighting large fish . Have a look at the ratio on all the jigging reels and you will see why. Daiwa made the dogfight that had similar ratios and using that reel compared to an expedition 6500 you soon got to see why . Under 5.0 ratio is the go for large fish. Cheers Dogtooth.... John....
  13. Here's a couple more Pics... Spaceage cleaning table... Engine Flushing Taps.. Cheers Dogtooth.... John....
  14. Hi Everyone, Fished longreef with plastics on sunday hoping for a big red , caught plenty of Bakers , red rock cod and all the unwanted stuff when all on a sudden i hooked up , drag screamed rod buckled and i just hung on hoping the fish would stop after a short fight and just hoping i wasnt going to get reefed, i thought i had my first decent snapper for the day . As my mate got the net ready we got some colour and it looked very dark , next thing this Drummer popped up. No reds for the day but got my first Drummer on Plastic Gulp grub Drummer Cheers Dogtooth.... John...

  17. Hi Ray , All my Kingfish caught have been using a Saragoosa 1800 f , would put 80lb braid just to give yourself a bit of insurance around structure. Cheers Dogtooth..... John...
  18. I visted the ramp today and thought the same thing ? I watched a 5.6 metre and a 7 metre boat side by side in the centre ramp and there wasn't much room .... If only they had made it alot wider ... Good luck reversing your boat all the way out when windy and other boats tied along the walkway.... I can see alot of fun days there on a weekend...... Original Pic of Ramp and how it could have Been , Im sure it would not cost that much to change if its labelled a bit of a hazzard... Whats your views ? Top Pics Penguin... Cleaning table looks Space age.. Cheer Dogtooth.... John...
