I know the pain all too well... Especially when you got a 3km walk to some spots, and there is no way your gonna do it in 2 trips.... Worst part is a real quiet day, tonnes of gear for not much anything... Still better to be overprepared then under That Marlin in Middle Harbour might come through for a swim one day Cheers Ben

Nasty... Worse then a kick to the groin... Lucky for Fathers Day Stupidity is trying to fight off a pack of seagulls (attacking bait) using a rod then losing it (slipped) in the drink and watching it sink... for his sake, he was lucky it was one of me old rods!! Cheers Ben

Mate... I would like to commend you on that mate, as if every fisho done that, I am sure that our marine lift would be much stronger and there would be more fish for us to catch!! That is something that everyone should do!! I remember taking gangs out of a tailor once, and he thanked me by taking a chunck out of my index finger when I was releasing him... hook free... Mate, As soon as braid touches a rock, reef etc with a decent fish, there will be tears on your side. I would recommend using an O ring to tie the lines together and tie the leader straight to jig, not the braid. Cheers Ben

Mate, I went to Darwin in November with Qantas and then flew out to spot x and I had two LBG Rods, one went just over 7ft one piece and the other just under 8ft in a rod tube, and had absolutely no dramas at all. Hope that helps, as for flies, definately be of no help... Will eventually get into it, then I can ask you questions Cheers Ben

Hey mate, A mate of mine just got home from a trip to WA... Some big spaniards been caught... he went chasing them and boy oh boy he cleaned up... Also plenty of sharks about, if you get bored send a queenie out and hold on... Hope this helps... Cheers Ben
