Hobie said they will be released hopefully this week so I'll give u a buzz and we will sort out a session

  5. They know nothing about these people though and the 12000 years is also just theory of what they believe for all we know they could even have been much larger and stronger men then what we have today. All we do is sit in an office all day and have a coffee back then they had to work very hard.
  6. Very interesting. Though I don't think I believe that we interacted in the past and they gave us tools
  7. Target your bream on small lures and blades and you will also be in for a chance on the Jews and flatties as well
  8. I don't think it's possible but I have also heard some stories of the Jews going all the way up to Windsor wharf. Highly doubt it though definitely not worth trying. Your best bet is it try get some bass and ep's
  9. I would also like to know if guys can pm me as well it would be heaps appreciated
  10. I was there on monday and we had a nightmare with all the catfish and rays had to shoot over to Cowan to get out of the catfish population
  11. This rod is designed for jigging but u coul d use it for live baiting also. There is no chance this thing will work you little blades and it definitely isn't a casting rod as it is very short

    Jerk shads

Jerk jerk jerk ..... Drop with jewwies I tend to work the plastic very agressive so the 3 jerks are very quick and sharp.
  13. Postponed but not too far hopefully next month and a half can't wait I'll give you a buzz soon
  14. good to see a Jew report from you again Pete
  15. The raiders are crap weak have seen too many break The revolutions have a very soft tip Maybe spend a little more and get t curve tournament or even grab a pflueger trion
  16. Jigging master for sure. I'm guessing you have a 20000 Stella.? I would go a evolution titanium bust just don't forget u wanting a rod for 80lb braid means u want a pe 6 rod That means the smallest jigging rod you will be looking at is something to match 350 g jig. Will you really be using that in Sydney?
  17. Was out n the hacking last night caught a massive pj about 120cm and few pinkies n bream. Target species was a Jew or two but none came out to play
  18. Hey buddy I've fished the hacking since the age of 13 so that's 7 years now. The thing about the hacking is that most the river is very shallow compared to other water systems From experience we have come up with the clear water making the fish very leader shy so fishing as light as possible is definitely the way to go. Any wharf in the hacking will get you squid and casting the squid or livies back out will get you your kings Bonnie's salmon(plentiful) and tailor. Lilli pilli Wally's gymea and gunnamatta baths and yowie are a good place to start. If your really keen get out into the national park and park your car at warrumbul. This is all squid ground and you will see why . Have a walk there are a few tracks which lead into south west arm when the warmer water hits you will get the surface school going crazy here and also lilli pilli although it's more of a boat thing. Might get lucky and they will come in close. As you fish more in the hacking you will learn much more. Give everything a try and come up with your own theories on fishing the hacking.
  19. We have caught a few big greeneyes on 3-7 inch gulps and we came to a conclusion they like the scent of the gulp so what we have been trying is soaking the jigs in the juice and then putting some egi max on it. Can't say it's been any different as I think the uprising number of squid is due to the water clearing and warming up. I wouldn't soak any hook or jig in the juice over night as the stuff rusts you hooks over night . I think from memory I hav a squidgies in a gulp packet and they either melted or hardened up / shrunk. I dont think it works that way but what wrong with s factor?
  20. Instead of wasting petrol driving 45 maybe give em a call? Ill probably give em a call on Tuesday
  21. Monday is actually looking very nice.the rain should give the water a bit of color good for chasing a few lizards or a Jew.
  22. Definitely washers it gets pretty annoying need to put the right amount of space. I took my bait runner to shimano and they did it for me. Good thing is other than baitrunner b's all my other shimanos have never had this problem even after 4-5 years of getting thrashed. I recommend taking it into the office they will know exactly how many washer to put in. When u get home reel the line onto an empty reel if u have one and just relay back onto your reel
  23. Just you. Hahaha At first I thought the nails were another eye Complete dud
  24. Me n my mate have been pulling lots of nice fatties and whiting out this winter. Not so many big breams but plenty of just under/ just over breams all on blades The trick with fishing blade is if your not getting snagged every now n again ur not fishing the right spot. It's very easy when fishing blades for people to just look for a spot with a flat bottom and no structure. But it's same as any other lures work it on structure and yes it can get pricey with decent blade prices at 16-20 bucks a pop but it's up to you if you want to risk it for the biscuit.
  25. I'm pretty 99% sure our arrow squids arn't Gould squid. Gould squid are much bigger and yes they are nicknamed arrow squid but their flaps are much more sharper and they are much fatter like our green eyes than our arrows. There are 2 species of squid mainly caught in our waters one are green eye calamari and the other is the one you have caught which is what we know them by as arrow squid. Really confusing I've tried researching the actual name or scientific name for the arrow squid but nothing has come up.
